SP ® ECO Primer is a high-quality anti-rust paint for indoor and outdoor steel structures. It is made from a base of Alkyd resin, modified Alkyd, zinc phosphate corrosion inhibitor, solvents, and additives. The paint film can withstand temperatures up to 100ᵒC.

- Single component, easy to use and apply.

- Dries very quickly, the paint film hardens quickly.

- Very good adhesion, good corrosion protection for structures that are not regularly submerged in water.

- Good weather resistance, can withstand temperatures up to 100ᵒC.

- Smooth, fast-drying paint film helps save construction time and costs.

- The surface must be dry, clean, and free of any impurities. The surface must be treated according to ISO 8504 standard.

- New untreated steel surface: Blast cleaning to achieve Sa 2.5 standard (ISO 8501-1:1998). Mechanical cleaning to a minimum standard of St2 (ISO 8501-1:1998) may be acceptable depending on the intended use.

- Steel surface with a temporary anti-rust coating: The surface of the temporary anti-rust primer must be clean, dry, undamaged, and free of impurities such as grease and dirt.

- Surface with old paint: The anti-rust primer must be dry, clean, and undamaged.

- Please contact the manufacturer for advice.

- Stir the paint thoroughly before use. The minimum surface application temperature is 10oC and 3oC above the dew point of the air. The application environment humidity ≤ 85%.

- If applying 2 coats of SP®ECO, each coat must be applied at least 4 hours apart at 25oC and the dry film thickness of each coat is 40-50µm.

- Drying time depends on temperature, humidity, and ventilation of the application environment. High temperatures and good ventilation will help the paint dry faster.

- Clean tools after use with a suitable solvent.
